Description: Noted wildlife author and founder of the Woodcraft Indians, Ernest Thompson Seton (1860-1946), exuberantly signed this slip of paper and scratched out one of his characteristic paw prints beneath his signature.
Seton published a number of books related to wildlife and scouting, most notably, “Wild Animals I Have Known”. He was also instrumental in the founding of the Boy Scouts of America.
