The third and fifth Annual Reports bound together; cover is stamped in gilt: Mrs. A.P. Ten Broeck. Three-quarter gilt decorated leather, raised bands on spine, marbled end papers, Third Annual Report 177 pp., 17 hand-colored plates to accompany Morgan’s report on the Indian Collection, also numerous line drawings in the text; Fifth Annual Report contains the first publication of Morgan’s “Report on the Fabrics, Inventions, Implements & Utensils of the Iroquois,” with 18 hand-colored plates and two b & w; 117 pp. There are also lithographs by Richard Pease of the Fisher and the Moose, as well as several other b & w plates by Pease of fossils. Leather scuffed/worn, boards scuffed, interior clean (no marks or writing) with some light scattered foxing; some pages toned, others bright white, gum Arabic darkened with age on several plates.
