Tan gilt-stamped leather over boards, 5 raised bands, engraved title page by A. Hertochs, bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, 294 pages, plus the 49-page The English Vineyard Vindicated by John Rose and 16 pages of a “Table of the principal Matters contained in t he Book” and an index, illustrated with 4 plates, one of which folds-out. Covers moderately worn and stained, text block soiled, edges of end papers offset by leather binding, random staining and toning throughout, but really is in very good condition.
