Description / Comments:
Size: 12mo – over 6¾” – 7¾” tall. Decorated, illustrated cloth over boards, top edges gilt, 62 pp., 6 illustrations by W.D. Stevens, text on each page set against a woodland background done in a pale green. As best as I can tell from reading the book, this is a sort of upper class society suspense story of sorts with a twist at the end, the suspense being how the protagonist will get out of a sticky situation. Front cover decoration is striking. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped, two names of previous owner’s on front free endpaper, one illustration starting to come loose from binding. Otherwise, the text is clean and unmarked, no writing or notations; binding is sound. Illustrator: Stevens, W. D.. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 0 lbs 11 oz. Category: Literature & Fiction; Critcism, History; Inventory No: 006270.
