Description: This 3/4″ x 2 7/8″ piece of paper bears the signature of William Livingston (1723-1790) who was the Governor of New Jersey  during the American Revolution, delegate to the first and second Continental Congresses, and  one of the signers of the United States Constitution. Alexander Hamilton lived with William Livingston for a brief period in the early 1770’s, and John Jay was his son-in-law.
