Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is sound. Gilt-stamped black leather spine with black cloth over boards, 190 pages, has all 6 maps/charts, pencil note on title page reads: “With Capt. Meade’s compts” which appears to be in a secretarial hand. Report includes “Projection of Off-shore Hydrography”, “Shore-line Topography and Hydrography”, “Geodetic Computations”, etc. Corners and spine ends bumped and worn, covers rubbed, leather along edges of spine is cracking, scattered foxing, previous owner’s name in pencil on front free end paper.
