Description: This 1918 poster was issued by the American Library Association’s War Service Committee in support of their campaign to provide books to American soldiers fighting abroad.

It was designed by Dan V. Smith and printed by Thomsen-Ellis Co. of Baltimore and New York. 28″ x 19″. Item #PR00487

Condition: A thumbnail-size loss at the lower left blank margin, tack hole at each corner, and a 1/2″ blank margin tear repaired with archival tissue/tape. Generally very good and bright.
