Description: This uncommon 1930’s[?] Danish travel poster features a large portrait of Hans Christian Andersen… a name that has become nearly synonymous with “fairy tales”. Under his name in the poster are the dates 1805-1930. Anderson was born in 1805 and, we assume, the 1930 represents the time of the poster’s production.

The poster was published by “Turistforeningen For Danmark” and printed by Egment H. Petersen. 39 1/4″ x 24 1/4″. Item #PR00491

Condition: Two short tears in blank margins, some wrinkling at edges, generally good condition.
