Description: This striking hand-colored copperplate engraved map was issued in Thornton’s “New & Complete History & Survey of London, Westminster…”, published in 1785.

The folio sheet is divided into three sections: “Plan of Coleman Street and Bassishaw Wards”, “Plan of Portsoken Ward”, and “Plan of Cripplegate Ward”.

Image size: 12 ¾” x 8 ½”, printed on a 15” x 9 ¾” sheet of laid paper. Item #PR00479

Condition: Chips to the blank border, otherwise very good and bright.
