This copy is inscribed and signed by the photographer on the half-title page. Gilt-stamped brown cloth spine and cream-colored cloth over boards, 95 pages, extensively illustrated. “Plossu sees New Mexico through a filter of imagery from the African continent, for he has photographed Egypt, the Sudan, their deserts, oases, and people. He sees it very much as a travel photographer, always on the move, and very much as a European, contrasting his stereotypical expectations of the Wild West and Mexico with the odd reality that is New Mexico.” Corners and spine ends lightly bumped. Pictorial dust jacket is bumped at corners and spine ends, has a few errant marks, is preserved in a Brodart jacket. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 2 lbs 15 oz.
