Description: An unusual 3^rd quarter 19^th c. rocking blotter produced in Mauchline, Scotland. This souvenir for the American trade has two very detailed transfers of Cooperstown, NY. One is titled: “Indian Hunter, Site of Cooper’s Home…”, the other is “Otsego Lake, Looking North…”. The central wooden knob unscrews to facilitate replacing the blotter paper. 5 ¼” x 3 ¼” x 2” high. Condition: A few scattered ink spots (including one on a transfer) and several tiny nicks, but generally very good with transfers not worn.
