Description: A signed lithograph by the American artist George Ford Morris. It is a strong impression with the original label and matting; clean and untouched, as presented to buyers by the Associated American Artists. Titled "Job’s War Horse" in the attached label. Signed in graphite at the lower right under the image and initialed and dated in the print in the lower right corner. The image is 11 5/8” x 8 7/8” printed on white wove paper under a 18” x 14” 2 ply mat. Item #PR00135.

George Ford Morris (1873-1960) started his career as an illustrator for “The Horseman” magazine. He was a founding member of the American Animals Artists Association. He is known for his illustrated book "Portraitures of Horses", published in 1953.

Condition: Fine, untouched condition. There are two ½’ tabs of hinging tape at the top margin on recto, as issued.
