Description: This rich print by Lamut shows her mastery of the tonal variations that can be obtained through the mezzotint process.

It is numbered (111 of 250), titled (“Cage”), and signed in graphite at the lower blank margin. It was published by the Associated American Artists.

Sonia or Sonja Lamut (1949-), born in Yugoslavia, is an accomplished painter, illustrator, and printmaker. Her works are in the collections of numerous prominent institutions including: The Museum of Modern Art (NY), Brooklyn Museum, Museum of Modern Art (Belgrade), National Museum (Krakow).
