Description: A fantastic group of twelve albumen boudoir style cabinet photographs. Ten have printed mounts with manuscript specifications for various locomotives and railroad lines. Includes: St. Louis, Vandalia & Terre Haute Line; Adirondack & St. Lawrence; East Tennessee, Virginia & Georgia; Fall Brook Coal Company; Connecticut River; Chicago & Alton; St. Lawrence, et al. One photograph is a great view of the front of a locomotive with manuscript specs on verso (Southern Pacific). Another photo is an image of a group of men and boys with bowler hats identified on verso as the 1890 “Drawing Room Force” of the Schenectady Locomotive Works. Each person is named and job indicated.

All photos are on beveled and gilded mounts measuring: 5 1/4″ x 8 1/2″. Item #P00154

Condition: One has a toned vertical line, rest are very good with decent contrast (though varied) and very good resolution.
