Lillian Hellman found plenty of success on Broadway with her many plays, some of which include: The Children’s Hour and The Little Foxes. Hellman turned The Little Foxes into a screenplay for a film starring Bette Davis. The 1977 Oscar-winning film Julia, was based off of Hellman’s 1973 semi-autobiographical book Pentimento.
