Description: Tom Lehrer (b. 1928), the American musician, satirist, and mathematician, penned a brief inscription and signed his name for a fan on this 3″ x 5″ blank card. The note reads: “for Mike Bertasso Jr. Best wishes — Tom Lehrer.”

In the 1950’s and 1960’s Tom Lehrer became known for his recordings of humorous songs like “When You Are Old and Gray,” a satirical song about love, and “We Will All Go Together When We Go,” an upbeat song about the nuclear extinction of humanity.
