“I hope that before you are thirteen years old you will have:

1. Improved your handwriting,

2. Learned that I do not make the covers for the Saturday Evening Post [Kent shares a name with the illustrator Norman Rockwell who did provide the cover art for numerous issues of the Sat. Eve. Post]

3. Stopped the foolishness of collecting autographs.
