Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: 4to. Text body is clean and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Excellent copy, in an acetate jacket and a slipcase, one of 1250 copies which were not reprinted. “Matthew J. Bruccoil . . . one of the real Crane scholars, wrote a worthy introduction. . .” Three stories by Stephen Crane, “The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky,” “The Veteran,” and “The Blue Hotel.” Black cloth spine and green gilt stamped cloth over boards, 58 pages, frontis and line illustrations by Mary Alice Bahler. Just a beautiful copy, includes the signed note from the publisher. In a plastic jacket that has a small chip at one corner, and a creased front flap. Slipcase is lightly soiled.
