Description: This heavy and well-crafted medical device comes in its original fitted mahogany case. A gold stamped leather label affixed to the lid’s velvet lining identifies the manufacturer or retailer as: “John Richardson & Co. Manufacturing Chemists Leicester Limited”. It appears to be brass and steel[?] and produced during the last quarter of the 19th century.

Box is 12″ x 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ high. Item #DA00360

Condition: Might be missing a small piece of tubing given that there is an extra 1 1/2″ space in the fitted case. Some wear and spotting to finish. Case has a few scratches. Generally good condition.
