Eddie Rickenbacker (1890-1973) was America’s most successful fighter pilot in World War I having won 26 aerial victories. He headed Eastern Airlines from 1935-1959.

Condition: A few spots of soil upper left. Letter had been stored in one of those ubiquitous “sticky” page photo albums and the glue from the page has migrated to the recto of the letter leaving light tidy stripes. Generally good condition with a bold signature.
