Description: This graphically arresting WWII poster features three arms thrust in the air, each with a tool of the “trade”… a monkey wrench, a rifle, and an open-ended wrench. The text reads: “Strong in the strength of the Lord we who fight in the people’s cause will never stop until that cause is won.”

Poster is signed in print, “David Stone Martin”. Martin (1913-1992) was an art director for the U.S. Office of War Information during WWII. He went on to an illustrious career as an illustrator of jazz record album covers.
Condition: Mailing folds (as usual with WWII posters), otherwise very good condition.
