Description: American stunt car driver Earl “Lucky” Teter (1901-1942) boldly signed in pencil this clipped program page in 1941, less than a year before he died performing a car jumping stunt.
Lucky Teter and His Hell Drivers performed automobile and motorcycle stunts across the United States and Canada from 1936 to 1942. Teter is credited with creating the now-ubiquitous stunts of jumping a car from ramp to ramp and rolling a car.
The program page has been laid onto a heavier sheet of paper. Overall: 5 1/2″ x 7″. Item #A01506
Condition: Light wrinkling from glue, generally good condition with a large, neat signature.
