Description: This bold, colorful poster was designed by Louis Siegrist for the Golden Gate International Exposition held in San Francisco in 1939. Text reads: “Blanket Design of the Haida Indians. Alaska Indian Court Federal Building”.

Silkscreened in red, blue, black and cream. Bottom right indicates Federal Art Project. 35 3/4″ x 25″. Item #PR00510

Condition: Regrettably, this is only in fair condition… hence the modest price. It has been laid onto illustration board, apparently to deal with several tears in the black upper area (one is 10″ long). There is also a small loss of paper at the upper right blank margin, as well as perimeter roughness. Still a graphically dynamic piece!
