Description: Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933), the 30th President of the United States, energetically scrawled his signature on this White House card while he was serving as Vice President. Coolidge became Vice President under Warren Harding in 1921, then rose to the presidency upon Harding’s sudden death in 1923. Coolidge is remembered for his stalwart support of racial equality and his laissez-faire approach to government.

The 2 ¼” x 4” card is imprinted: “The Vice-President’s Chambers Washington”. Includes a 5 ¾” x 4 ¼” vintage Pach Bros. photo of Coolidge and the address panel of the original transmittal envelope. Item #A01290

Condition: Card has been backed by another piece of paper, has scuff marks along top edge, not touching signature. Overall  good condition with a large, neat signature.
