Description: The accomplished Elihu Root served as U.S. Secretary of War, U.S. Senator, as well as, winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1912. In 1916 he was a contender for the Republican Presidential nomination. This badge promoted his campaign, which he lost to Charles Evans Hughes, who ultimately lost the election to Woodrow Wilson.
Badge is 4″ long, celluloid portrait is 1″ in diameter. Union bug is imprinted on the red, white, and blue ribbon. Item #AM00294
