Description: This brief typed note was signed by former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt on March 27, 1913. The letter reads: “My dear Mr. Allen: I appreciate your letter so much that I must send you just one line of personal thanks and acknowledgment for all that you have written.”

Theodore Roosevelt served as the 26th President of the United States (1901-1909). After his presidency, Roosevelt worked as an associate editor for The Outlook, a New York-based weekly magazine. This letter was typed on “The Outlook 287 Fourth Avenue New York Office of Theodore Roosevelt” imprinted stationery and signed boldly: “T. Roosevelt”.

Condition: Mailing fold lines and pin holes near top left corner, otherwise very good with a large, strong signature. Not examined out of frame.
