Theodore Roosevelt served two terms as President of the United States (1901-1909), was Vice President under William McKinley until his assassination, and also served as Governor of New York (1899-1900).
A blue star-shaped paper seal of the War Office of the United States is at the bottom left corner. Also signed by the acting Secretary of War Robert Shaw Oliver. 21” x 16”. Item #A00860.
Condition: Several short tears at edges, light soil and toning along right side, otherwise very good condition with a large, clear signature.
