Description
Description: This medal was the first medallic design commission for St. Gaudens. It was issued by the Committee of the Celebration in NY and was cast by the Gorham Manufacturing Company in an edition of 2000 in bronze and 10 in silver.
4 3/8″ diameter. Item #AM00251
Condition: Rim has a few bumps and small dings, some wear at high spots. Generally good condition with a very good mellow patina.
