Description: This wonderful lithograph depicts the Governor’s House “erected 1790, at the foot of Broad Way, facing the Bowling Green.” The building was originally designed as the residence of then President George Washington but was never occupied by him. It was razed in 1815. The lithograph was created from the original drawing by W. J. Condit.

Condition: Professionally laid on linen to stabilize three small tears… one at the right margin, one at the left margin and one at the left edge of the title. Generally good condition with good color.
