Description

Description: This fifteenth century illuminated manuscript leaf comes from a Latin Book of Hours. One side of the vellum sheet has thirteen lines of text and one section of red-lined musical notation, the verso has fifteen lines of text. Capital letters are decorated with gold leaf and pink (probably faded from red) and blue ink. The same colors are used to fill in blank areas at the ends of some of the lines.
