Description: Ernest Thompson Seton (1860-1946), the noted wildlife author and founder of the Woodcraft Indians, inscribed and signed this shoulder-up photo of himself dressed in a suit and wearing a somewhat stern expression. As typical, he also drew a paw print below his signature.
Seton published a number of books related to wildlife and scouting, most notably, "Wild Animals I Have Known". He was also instrumental in the founding of the Boy Scouts of America.
