Description: We offer a charming rendering of downtown Ballston Spa. The drawing is 4 ¾” x 7 5/8” in a mid-nineteenth century-style frame that is 11 ½" x 14", signed “Lucinda” at the lower left and titled by the artist on verso: “Balston Springs near Kayaderosseras Creek”. Ballston Spa, once known as Ballston Springs, was a resort town outside of Saratoga Springs, New York. This view of the town is a faithful, well-handled drawing inspired by the 1830's engraving by W. H. Bartlett. Item #FA00133.
