Description: We offer a Bing vertical steam engine with polychrome paint. It stands at 13” high with a 4 ½” base. It includes the original burner and a small funnel. The mechanisms appear to be in working order (aside from the separated steam pipe), though we have not tried to operate it. Bing was a German toy company in operation from 1863 to 1933. The logo of stylized letters B over W (for "Bing Werke" — "Bing Works") dates this engine to the 1920’s or early 1930’s. Item #DA00231.
Condition: We are not miniature steam engine experts, though we can provide more photographs if needed and will try to answer any questions.
