Description: We offer a signed snappy, futuristic lithograph by Raymond Loewy. “Skylab” is printed full-bleed, 21" x 28", on thick wove paper, pencil initialed and editioned, 280/300, at the right, with a blindstamp at the right margin that reads “1978 Circle F. A. Corp.” There are two faint blindstamps at the left corner. Item #PR00296.
Raymond Loewy (1893 – 1986) was a French-born American industrial designer who conceived some of the most iconic objects and advertising imagery of the 20th century including the Shell, Exxon, TWA and the former BP logos, the Greyhound Scenicruiser bus, Coca-Cola vending machines, the Lucky Strike package, Coldspot refrigerators, the Studebaker Avanti and Champion, and the Air Force One livery.
