Eric Sloane (1905-1985) was an American landscape painter, illustrator, and author widely known for his pictorial books on American cultural history and lifestyle.
Condition: Spots where Sloane used correcting fluid have now discolored, this is most prominent at the upper right corner. The margins of the illustration and the original matting are toned and the illustration board has a few small areas where the paper is lifting of the board. The drawing remains in good condition with strong lines, it is still quite presentable.
