|Description: Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933), the 30th President of the United States, energetically scrawled his signature on this White House card. Coolidge became Vice President under Warren Harding in 1921, then rose to the presidency upon Harding’s sudden death in 1923. Coolidge is remembered for his stalwart support of racial equality, and his laissez-faire approach to government.
Roughly 2 ¾” x 4 ¼”, with “The White House Washington” embossed at top right. Includes original transmittal envelope stamped with a Feb. 5, 1929 date. Item #A00687.
