Description: We offer a clipped signature of British Prime Minister David Lloyd George.
David Lloyd George (1863-1945) served as Prime Minister of the UK from 1916-1922. As Prime Minister, he was a major player at the Paris Peace Conference at the close of World War I, and oversaw the partition of Ireland/creation of the Irish Free State.
The clipped signature is paper-clipped to a 5 3/8” x 4 ½” piece of stationery blind-stamped with the address: “18, Abingdon Street, Westminster, S. W. 1.” Typed on the stationery: “With Mr. Lloyd George’s compliments. 23rd March, 1923.” Item #A00974.
Condition: Black mounting corners still affixed, impressions left by paperclip, overall good condition with a large, bold signature.
