Daniel Chester French is most famous for his monumental sculpture of a seated President Lincoln that resides at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. He also designed the side of the Pulitzer medal that features Benjamin Franklin, the infamous John Harvard statue at Harvard University, and The Four Continents at the Alexander Hamilton Custom House in New York.
