Description: We offer an 1892 timetable for the Catskill Evening Line Steamers, the “Shortest, Cheapest and Best Route to the Catskill Mountains” that connected with the Catskill Mountain Railroad. Depending on the day, patrons could take either the “Kaaterskill” or “Catskill” steamer from New York to Catskill for a one dollar fare.
Includes an extensive list of “Summer Hotels and Boarding-Houses in and near the Catskill Mountains Accessible via Catskill Evening Line Steamers.” Illustrated with images of steamers and the scenic Catskill Mountain area.
